KS1900 External Toggle is a great idea for a folding knife. The aluminum handle is three pieces and they are all connected via rotating bolts. The spring in the tail piece allows it to be flicked to both open and close the blade. It looks complicated but works easily with a few moments of practice. The blade has a built in carabiner clip. A knob lock is on the bottom of the handle that locks the knife in the closed position and a pocket clip is on the tail piece.
