Kayak Paddles feature black plastic-clad super strong aluminum shafts that extend fully into the blade length for internal reinforcement. With the take-down coupling feature, these paddles can have the blades run parallel (in line) or they can be feathered 90 degrees by simply depressing the locking button and turning the shaft 1/4 turn.
